when should I arrive?
Great question! Most people will be arriving the morning of Friday September 26. Check in at Dawn Ranch is at 4pm, and our Welcome Party for all guests begins at 6:30pm.
However, if your schedule allows, come earlier and explore the Bay Area - Marin, Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, Sonoma, & Sea Ranch are all very close and so beautiful.
where should I stay?
With us! At Dawn Ranch!
We chose Guerneville because Dawn Ranch is our dream venue, allowing us to gather all of our favorite people in a Summer Camp environment in the redwoods. We’re so excited to have everyone in one place!
We’ve reserved all 90 of the individual cabins (recently renovated) for everyone to stay. It’s a beautiful hotel right on the river, and steps away from the town.
We’re most excited to get a full weekend with all of you. You will receive your booking link from us right after you’ve RSVP’d!
how do I get there? what airport should I fly into? or could I drive from southern california?
First of all, thank you for traveling so far for us.
FLYING: Santa Rosa is the closest airport, only 20 min from Dawn Ranch. Other great options if you plan on renting a car are OAK or SFO. The drive is approx 1.5 hrs from either.
DRIVING: If you like a roadtrip, you could absolutely drive. In fact, that’s what we are doing. It’s about a 7 hour drive from LA!
should I rent a car?
That is up to you! If you are flying into SFO or OAK, then yes. If you are flying into Santa Rosa, ubering is easy.
All of our planned activities for the weekend are very walkable. However, if you’re wanting to explore on Friday before arriving, or Sunday after all the events, there are many beautiful areas in very close driving distance.
dress code?
Britt has specifically asked that everyone come in their boldest. Truly. Wear the dress, wear the wild suit, consider this the moment to do it. Colorful & fun is the goal. But if that sounds crazy, a classic suit or tux is always welcomed. Also, if you need more direction, we’ve made a moodboard.
All of the events will be in grass, so just keep that in mind.
can I come early?
Of course! Wedding activities begin on Friday evening, 9/26. However, many have expressed interest in coming a little early. If your schedule allows, please do! We will be up there starting Tuesday (9/23).
If you’d like to book at Dawn Ranch, feel free to call or email them (hello@dawnranch.com), and they can extend your room for your desired dates.

you said summer camp. What are the rooms like?
Don’t worry, this is a very elevated summer camp. You’ll have your own private space with every modern amenity and Le Labo soap. Check out the rooms at Dawn Ranch here.
what meals are provided?
We have your dinners! Friday night we will provide food at the Welcome Party and of course we will provide dinner at the Reception on Saturday. We’d recommend planning for breakfast and lunches. There’s tons of restaurants within walking distance in town, Dawn Ranch has food options in the lodge and there is also a grocery store next door if you want to grab snacks for your cabin.
you included my child’s name on our invitation! Now what?
First of all, thank you for giving birth to some of our favorite people. It’s hard to imagine our wedding without them there. We know this may make the weekend a little more challenging on you, so thank you.
We will be reaching out personally with all kid related information.
what to pack?
You don’t really need us to tell you this. But, pack your most fun fashion, a bathing suit, a jacket for the evenings, shoes for being on grass, etc. We will update this as the date comes closer.
can I bring a +1?
If it were up to us, we’d invite everyone. Genuinely. Unfortunately the venue has a capacity, and we are very close to that number. Please call or text us about anyone that wasn’t included on your invitation that you think should have been!
what if my question isn’t answered in the FAQ?
As you are likely aware, we aren’t really known for being big detail people. But, we can’t wait to answer any questions you might have. Please call or text us! We want to be detail people for you.
